Cake is a creative animation, design and live-action studio. Although based in London we collaborate with designers and animators from around the world to bring a wealth of experience to each brief. Working closely with our clients from concept to delivery, we ensure innovative solutions are brought on time and on budget.

David Pocull, Director / Cofounder

Designer, artist and illustrator from Barcelona, Spain. With experience working on a wide range of projects involving motion graphics, print and online design. He has lived in different countries like US, UK, Italy and Spain working for clients such as NBA, BBC, Mtv, Vh1, Animal Planet, Nike, Fox Europe, Paramount Comedy or Gatorade.

Thiago Maia, Director / Cofounder

Thiago was born in the jungles of Sao Paulo, Brazil, a young monkey keen to explore his surroundings and learn new skills. After learning to behave like a human he managed to find a job in design and worked in Brazil for 3 years. Then one day he managed to stow away on boat to London, England, ready to explore this new jungle and pursue his new life and career. Over the years he has had the opportunity to work with clients like Cartoon Network, Virgin, BBC, Universal, Microsoft, Pepsi, Nickelodeon, SKY and Nokia to name a few.
He’s also co-founder of animation and design event/blog See No Evil.
